Candidates applying for the IT Assistant vacancy are expected to meet the following qualification standards and core competencies:

* Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Electronics, or a closely related field.

* Sound practical knowledge of computer hardware, computer networking, operating systems, and general IT infrastructure.

* Hands-on experience working with Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and technical troubleshooting methodologies.

* Basic understanding of CCTV systems, NVR/DVR configuration, and modern video surveillance technologies.

* Basic working knowledge of Public Address (PA) systems, audio equipment handling, and setup troubleshooting.

* Operational understanding of Local Area Networks (LAN), TCP/IP protocols, printer configuration, and basic user administration.

* Strong IT capabilities, effective communication skills, and sound decision-making traits.

* Knowledge of IT-related documentation standards will be considered a distinct added advantage.

* Manage daily hardware and software issues while offering responsive end-user technical support.

* Provide comprehensive end-user training to staff members whenever new systems or tools are deployed.

* Maintain databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management schedules.

* Continuously maintain and update IT systems and overall infrastructure to ensure smooth daily operations.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to identify, diagnose, and address IT-related needs.

* Execute regular Windows desktop maintenance, both remotely and via direct on-desk assistance.
